This is a beautiful book. The story and illustrations are whimsical and charming. The story captures lots of sailing lore and brings the reader right along. Hard to say which I preferred more.. The story or drawings. I will be sharing with my best friends.

This book is a gem. I am completely entranced by the whimsy of the story, the pluck and inventiveness of “our heroine”, the amazing details of sailing challenges overcome, and above all the captivating drawings which take you into the heart of the story and make you believe every second of it!! I think a sequel is the only way to go!! and thank you for the huge effort and love that went into this little book. It is truly a story for readers of all ages.

We just loved the story and the illustrations, especially the old tugboat!
Skip, this story just begs to be read out loud!
We were thrilled to have Tina read the whole story out loud to us one evening.
Every time I see a nice little sailboat down at the dock I think of Cora.
Thanks so very much you two.
